Gardens 1982 - 1987
The whole idea of manmade landscapes began to intrigue me in these years. In particular the British passion to remake the landscape into some sort of paradise seemed extraordinary. It's a passion that seems to take hold of so many people in all walks of life so that there is hardly a home in the British Isles where someone is not making an attempt to turn the garden into an Eden.
